It is hot, no doubt about it. If you are a cool weather person and uncomfortable in damp, then perhaps it would be better to wait until a cooler months, like August October.Late beginning of the season typhoons along the southern coast sees so it's possible you can be pretty wet in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Xiamen.
