Mutianyu Section

The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China is easily accessible from Beijing City center and is good for a day out with a visit to the Ming Tombs. The Mutianyu section is a bit further away than other parts of the Great Wall and is therefore less crowded with tourists. It offers a beautiful view of the winding wall as it undulates over hills in the distance and is reinforced by a number of towers in which visitors can climb for a view of the surrounding area.
