AirTran launches fare sale for fall

ORLANDO, Fla. — AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings Inc., on Tuesday launched a systemwide fare sale for travel from September 7 to Nov. 17 — one of the slowest travel periods of the year.
