JetBlue will make flights to Turks & Caicos

NEW YORK — JetBlue Airways Corp. stated Wednesday that it will begin offering service from New York and Boston to the Turks & Caicos Islands in the Caribbean in February. On Feb. 17, it will begin flying daily to Providenciales, the most populous of the islands, from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. On Feb. 19, it will begin weekly Saturday flights from Boston Logan International to Providenciales.

U.S. highway deaths hit lowest level since 1950

UPS names 2 who died in Dubai crash

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Crew members from Kentucky and Florida were identified Saturday as the two people killed when a UPS cargo plane crashed shortly after takeoff outside Dubai. The Atlanta-based package delivery company stated that the crash killed 48-year-old Captain Doug Lampe of Louisville, Ky., and 38-year-old First Officer Matthew Bell of Sanford, Fla.
