AirTran, Frontier sales up fee
Dallas – AirTran Airways and Frontier Airlines have launched summer fare sale that offers the best deals for clients who can travel during the middle of the week.

AirTran said Tuesday the sale would go through April 14 and cover travel between 15 April and 2 November, with the cheapest prices on Tuesday and Wednesday flights. There are more than 30 blackout days when prices are not applicable.
The airline is touting fares as $ 158 per round trip between Baltimore and Bermuda or Florida, and $ 198 on the Atlanta-Washington and Boston-Fort Myers, Florida, travel.
Frontier says it is offering some seats as low as $ 78 roundtrip for travel Monday through Thursday between June 1 and September 8 The cheapest deals from Milwaukee, with most round trips from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Dallas start from $ 188 to $ 328th
The airlines said the fares are not available on all flights, and they will not say how many seats they will sell at market prices.
Tom Parsons, CEO of travel website BestFares.com, said the major airlines including United, Continental, Delta and American were match AirTran sale – probably reluctantly. Airlines have tried to raise prices to offset high jet fuel costs, and a new undermines the sale as an input.
