AirTran launches fare sale for fall
ORLANDO, Fla. — AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings Inc., on Tuesday launched a systemwide fare sale for travel from September 7 to Nov. 17 — one of the slowest travel periods of the year.
The lowest sale fares are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Passengers must buy tickets seven days before travel.
Sample fares include flights between Baltimore and Boston for $54 one-way and a flight between Milwaukee and Washington Dulles for $79 one-way.
