We can all sense. That tiny pit in our stomachs as we approach Labor Day weekend, that feeling of bittersweet cheers symbolic last summer before the fall – and his close friend, the reality – set.

Do you prefer summer or autumn travel trip?

Although summer is the traditional high season for travel, there are a lot of benefits for travel in the fall. Prices are generally softer, the crowds are generally less, and the weather is generally milder, to name a few.

Of course, for those with families, summer is the benefit that children do not attend school. So if you are traveling with children of school age, falling trips can not be an option (unless you pull the youth out of school as my parents do. It is also kosher anymore? 'State ever?). But for those with a little 'bit more flexibility, Day Labor Day should not report a goodbye to lazy days on the beach or at the end for impromptu road trips and distant joints.

For example, several travel agencies are offering opportunities autumn leaves. Go Ahead Tours offers $ 500 off per couple in one of his seven days of Coastal New England Fall Foliage tour booked by August 31. The tour starts at $ 1,759 per person departing on October 1 and October 8. Globus offers $ 200 per couple off his 9-day Summer & Fall Foliage Classic and its 9-day Fall Foliage Getaway tour, prices from $ 1,979 and $ 2,099 respectively. And Brendan Vacations offers a 10% discount on the package autumn colors for bookings made by August 29.
