Why it’s a deal: In a recent Kayak search, we found a $664 round-trip fare between New York City and Madrid in late October (United Airlines). For the same dates, a two-week rental automobile from Auto Europe starts at $166. For $318 more than the airfare and the automobile costs, this package covers the airfare and automobile rental, plus six nights’ accommodations, breakfast daily, and all taxes and fees.
