DAY 1 of Contiki

Ok, firstly, apologies for the EXTREME delay in posting blogs. Europe SUCKS for free internet and also I haven’t had much of a chance to update due to running around like a nutcase in freezing tempretures. As I forgot to bring my diary with my notes in it to the computer, I cannot recall it if was during this day or the next day, that we were able to do some nick nack shopping. Got some sweet gifts though, yay for gifts.

We left the Royal National hotel at 7am. We took the ferry across to Francebut didn’t stop to admire it’s glory (saving that for last we are!) We drove through to Belgium where we had a service stop and some food etc. It was freaking cold there also, and snow snow snow. I didn’t think I could be colder then I was in London (which has been EXTREMLY cold if you haven’t been watching the news) but apparently I could be, and so I was!

So Amsterdam…..land of the FREAKING AWESOME!!! First and fore most, it was freaking cold there. Snow and extreme coldness didn’t stop us though, from catching a live sex show…..that’s right, people were doing things with bananas that SHOULD NOT be done to bananas. The banana lady was shit though. It was halarious though, and we got 2 drinks included with our ticket. Some of the acts were “tasteful” others were lacking in that areaie: a girl, smoking a cigar from her vagina…..how on earth she came to know she could do this….is beyond me, but she could! I’m suprised though that she made it through the whole show, as she looked as though she was going to pass out the moment she walked on stage.

After the show, we hit up a coffee shop, for anything but coffee. One joint set us back 6 Euro….but it was a nice big fatty. Also, in order to smoke the j, you MUST buy a non alcoholic drink which sets you back another 5 Euro a drink!!! Clearly weed is much cheaper in Amsterdam then Coke is.

That’s all I’ve got from memory, I’m sure I’ll be able to edit it, next time I have the chance.
