Map: Urban Camping in New York
Thanks to the popularity of Parks and Recreation NBC, the Departments of Parks in the world seems to be feeling a renewed sense of pride. And New York is primarily responsible for the development of Floyd Bennett Field, which became the largest urban camp in the nation. However, until the project is completed, the city Parks Department has a program all summer camp aimed at urban families in the five boroughs. Given the focus of the program, campers are only discouraged, but couples can join the outdoor fun. Here and now, the best places in the Big Apple to launch its tent.
