The Alps (stages 17, 18 and 19). Each Tour passes through them. But I will leave the excitement for others. I know they have their fans, but not for me. In hot summer, especially during excursions, the mountains just clog the human navel lint. And the food is not good. Cheese and fatty meat. Rubbish. And wooden chalets.
