TV Review: House Rescue Country

Gissing Hall can be futile and a little scary, but presenter of this show is really grotesque

When William and Ann Brennan saw for sale ad in the newspaper Sunday newspaper for a 44-room mansion, Norfolk, did the logical thing – they'll buy. Well they did look at the first course. "We, and was a great view," said Ann, romantically. "This great single, red-brick flat in the middle of a frozen field."

So, Ruth has decided that it is quite clever, but it is up to the job? "Given the structure, you think you are really self-discipline in order to comply with this?" Observe not stick. Ruth likes a more formal word – respect, randomness, residential area. If we are to judge intelligence of other people have to show your own.

It has a little wander round alone, and knocks on a couple who are thinking to have part of their marriage in Gissing. What they think of the curtains in the ballroom, she wants to know. They do not like. "Okay, thank you," said Ruth with a smug little laugh. Ha ha ha, you see I was right.

Well, I'm not so good; Ruth Watson is miserable.
