Alaska Airlines flights swept after bomb threat

(Updated at 3:10 pm EST) An Alaska Airlines plane landed at Oakland International Airport on Monday after a bomb threat against the flight was found on a handwritten note in San Francisco, but no bomb was found, The airline said.

Officials announced the airline bomb threat found on a piece of paper to refer specifically San Francisco International Airport Alaska Airlines 342, airline spokeswoman Bobbie Egan said.

The airline learned of the bomb threat, while the flight, headed from Seattle to Oakland, with 126 passengers and six crew members aboard, was in the air, said Egan.

The flight was taken to a remote location after landing at Oakland International Airport at 07:56 the flight had left Seattle-Tacoma International Airport at 06:22

No bomb or explosive device were found on board and all passengers who were questioned have been released, the law and the airline said local application.
