Delta aircraft clip each other at the airport in Chicago
CHICAGO – Two passenger jets clipped each other Delta on the ground in Chicago's O'Hare International on Friday, but no injuries were reported, the airline said.
"We had an incident tonight taxiways at O'Hare," said Delta spokeswoman Chris Kelly Singley, adding that two planes had "made contact" field.
She said all the passengers disembarked after the incident with a flight to Minneapolis and another part of Atlanta. An investigation was under way because of the collision and to assess the damage, he said.
An Aviation Department spokeswoman Karen Pride of Chicago, said the aircraft had "reportedly clipped wings," but Delta spokesman could not confirm what parts of the plane approached.
