Police arrested the alleged threat to passenger aircraft

LAS VEGAS – Authorities say a plane en route to Los Angeles has returned to Las Vegas after a person on board by bomb threat.

Las Vegas police say KLAS-TV that the Spirit Flight 245 landed at McCarran International Airport around 5:30 pm Saturday, with the police that the passenger who made the alleged threat to custody at the gate.

McCarran spokesman Glenn Gardener states that authorities were investigating the suspect. Gardener does not know the details of the alleged threat.

Authorities searched the aircraft Spirit and cleared later Saturday.

Gardener says that the other occupants of the aircraft, which were removed from the aircraft in Las Vegas, boarded another plane to Los Angeles International Airport.

No further information was released.
