Police: woman wrote of the "boom" is a suitcase
A Miami woman has been arrested in connection with the bomb scare that closed one of Miami International Airport terminal this week, according to a report.
Landaeta Danis, 30, has a picture of a bomb and wrote the "boom" word on the baggage of his friend who was at the airport to fly to Venezuela, to Miami Local10.com reported.
Associate Landaeta gave her purse to officials in Santa Barbara Airlines on the afternoon of Tuesday, and when they noticed what they thought was a bomb scare, Terminal F was promptly evacuated and closed for about an hour, Local10 reported.
Investigators said Landaeta confessed the prank, and she has been accused of a bomb hoax and criminal damage, according to the report Local10.
The fake bomb was not the only unusual title coming out of Miami International Airport this week. A man has been arrested and accused of trying to sneak on a flight to Brazil with seven exotic snakes and three turtles hidden in his pants.
