Nelson Santiago, 30, Hollywood, Florida, was arrested on Monday, two counts of Grand Theft.
Santiago said detectives into the theft of computers, cameras and other electronics, luggage, that he was screening. Secret Police say Santiago should immediately take a picture of an item stolen from his cell phone, post it for sale online, and often sell it at the time of his shift ended.
Santiago worked in the terminal that houses in Southwest and Continental. Continental employee reported seeing stuff in Santiago iPad comes pants.
Detectives say they believe in Santiago was about $ 50,000 value of the electronics for the past six months.
Santiago published in the Bond days after his arrest. He no longer works the TSA, where he had worked since January 2009.
Detectives say may have more victims, and Santiago could face additional charges.
TSA is cooperating with the investigation.
