A hamburger bar with difference: every citizen Named after one drag queen executes there – keep one eyelet website when gladly one deed catching. Describes itself as "an attitude free zone Gay, lesbians, bisexual, gay and heterosexuals". Relaxed and friendly it bartenders mix amazing cocktails and interior has a cooled vibe. The hamburgers not disappoint: try Jennifer Hopelezz beef burger with guacamole and bacon whether the Dolly Bellefleur lamb burger with tzatziki and grilled courgette. They served with thick seasoned wedges and one mayo-heavy salad. And try metropolitan – one cosmo made with Dutch Jenever liqueur.

Hidden below the Nes – what looks like an alley runs south of the Dam – is insignificant on the outside, but inside it is usually packed with customers at small wooden tables. They do not take reservations, so get there early and drink while you wait. There is no menu (in the ink-on-paper feel) so expect your waiter to recite a list of dishes. These range from French and Italian classics like steak tartare and carpaccio, to North African tagines and Indonesian curries. To begin, trying their house pâté that is rough gamey and filled rustic French taste. 'S flesh is generally good, with undercooked happy, well-seasoned steaks and generous, thick chips.
Go not to Zotte when teetotal. This 'pub' is mecca for Belgian beer lovers with some good brews on tap and scores more bottled. To stop Recovers you drunk, simple but filling menu offered. It classically brown café fare: steaks with pepper blue cheese or mushrooms sauces, grilled lamb or chicken simply prepared. East African food is not well represented in Amsterdam, where it is, you generosity and pride expect in the kitchen. Azmarino The interior is cozy and kitsch, with a cozy atmosphere to adjust. The food is served in large parts of the platters is the basis of which is formed by a layer of slightly sour, spongy pancakes that are typical for the region, with an additional stack of pancakes on the side to mop up the juices. Try bun (one generic name sandwiches made having chosen bread) with avocado, smoked chicken, sundried tomatoes and melted brie. With a terrace overlooking the Nieuwmarkt and open all day, is the kind of joint you can pop in for morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, beer and tapas after work or dinner. At lunch, think pimped-up club sandwiches with smoked chicken, crispy bacon, Dutch cheese, salad and sauces with a kick. The tapas are great, and different from the norm with Spanish Italian Dutch croquettes and bruschetta. The main courses are also internationally, with recent food including fajitas and a skewer of grilled mixed meats. Traditional Dutch white beer and mulled wine are offered until late, and the interior is all funky 70s orange and brown.
The Dutch translation of "yum yum" – the sound you make when you try their pizza tartufata. This house specialty is Italian ham, rocket, parmesan and (especially) truffle sauce. The dough is thin, crunchy and nutty with an ever-so-slightly charred edges, the toppings are fresh, authentic and generous, and the truffle is clearly addictive. There is a range of other pizzas, as well as bresaola, buffalo mozzarella, bruschetta and other classic Italian antipasti. Despite (or perhaps because of) its off-the-beaten-track location, a local, neighborhood feel and is always busy.

You should try Dutch pancakes, or pancakes. Thick and filled with savory or sweet fillings, making them a perfect hangover food and reasonably priced. On, you have the most dazzling ever to climb stairs. On top, the restaurant has only four or five tables, surrounded by hundreds of eclectic teapots dangling from the ceiling and every inch of available space. The pancakes are not the cheapest, but they are worth it for the location alone. Try the pancake with bacon and syrup – like maple syrup without the maple. Or switch the syrup for cheese. Anyway, come hungry because a plate-sized pancake will give you full all afternoon.

There is plenty of Thai food in Amsterdam, but distinguishes itself by consistently good and cheap. Located near the popular Leidseplein, is an ideal option for a post-shopping or pre-clubbing dinner. Menu is long and features usual Thai suspects including curries, noodles, fishcakes and soups. Entrees come in silver pots balanced on small candlelit burners while rice replaces large silver urns. Try Neua Phad Namman Hoi: beef oyster sauce with broccoli, mushrooms and spring onion – hearty, umami tastes oystersauce and beef make one average mouthful with freshness of broccoli and sting from scallions.

Conveniently situated just west van Dam making it the perfect place for pause between seeing the touristic city sights or shopping in nearby Kalverstraat – more Recommendation for lunch or noon coffee than dinner. Visitor should leave Amsterdam without one slice applecake (applepie) and Palace programs is one best town to offer: thick buttery pastries, soft cinnamic flecked apple and large portion glorious indulgent cream. An absolute treat after one day's sightseeing.
