World's top 50 best restaurants: See complete list

Noma restaurant in Copenhagen topped the list of top 50 best restaurants in the world, maintaining its position at number one for another year.
The list was compiled by the magazine Restaurant, awarded the Danish restaurant the coveted prize at a ceremony which saw Heston Blumenthal The duck fat are in fifth place – two points down on last year.
The biggest news of the top 50 list was the absence of the Spanish El Bulli. The repeat winner in the past, the restaurant was removed from the list as a chef Ferran Adria has chosen to close the restaurant later this year. Peter Walker writes:
"Spanish cuisine is still important to the views of 837 judges around the world – a mix of chefs, writers and restaurateurs. – In second place taken by El Celler de Can Roca, the three-star restaurant run by Michelin Girona three brothers behind was Mugaritz, in the Basque Country.
So what kind of paint this picture for a list of restaurants in the country? We were curious to reach a quick summary of the top 50 list:
• France has the most number of restaurants on the list to eight, but the U.S. following closely behind with six and five in Spain
• The UK has four restaurants with the best restaurant list; The duck fat, the Ledbury, St. John and Hibiscus. The Ledbury also had the highest new entry at 34th place
• The highest climber was in Nihonryori Ryugin Japan. He managed to jump 28 places on last years list to make it to the 20th best restaurant in the world
• Russia and Peru appeared on the list for the first time this year in Moscow and Vavravy Astrid Y Gaston in Lima
