Marriott makes such as Farmville, but foodies

Never considered working in the hotel? How about playing in one?
Now you can through my Marriott Hotel, online games, which just launched on Facebook. Taking their cue from the wildly popular proposals as FarmVille and CityVille, the game invites players to work in a virtual kitchen and see if the career of the real world, the hotel is located directly on them.
"There are currently 600 million people playing online games," said David Rodriguez, executive vice president of Marriott for global human resources. "This represents a channel to attract them."
Currently, the game offers another option: a restaurant scenario, in which players create and kitchen staff, and then prepare meals that get harder as the game progresses. Purchase ingredients, putting dishes together Desk – if all goes well, the plates come back clean, you glasses and your restaurant turns a profit.
If all goes awry – the cost of the upper income customers are unhappy – then you end up with cash flow problems and poor manager, as in real life.
This game is intended primarily as a tool kit was created to appeal to young people who not only play online games, but also often act as foot soldiers for the industry. According to Rodriguez, Marriott expects to complete up to 50.000 positions throughout the world this year and expects to decide on another iteration of the game in the coming weeks.
"The most likely candidates would be room service, because it is a natural extension of the restaurant, but we also look at the front desk and housekeeping," he told msnbc.com.
Recruiting aside, Rodriguez argues that the game also offers something for those who are not interested in a career in the hospitality industry, because it links to the company's website: "People will get to discover the amazing destinations that they can put on their roster. "
At the same time, my Marriott Hotel offers a fairly realistic look at the inner workings of cuisine restaurant, albeit with a slight pun.
In the game, unlike in the real world, you get to pick your boss.
