Rental companies often charge a flyer mile bonuses

Times have certainly hard for the car rental companies that are trying to cope with high oil prices and the associated precipitation. But it's hard to pity them as they take on absurd charges of travelers. Especially annoying for an additional fee you may not know about redemption for frequent flyer miles.

Suppose you are booking a car in the U.S. you see a place on the online booking form invites you to enter your membership number in your favorite program for frequent flyers. It appears that you have someone offers a free way to pocket the frequent flier miles, which can then be cashed in for a plane ticket.

But there is one snag. Companies charge different amounts for this "service" to a dollar a day.
